In early 2023, we sent out postcards to schools across the ACT asking students to respond to the following question:
What are your hopes for the environment?
We wanted to better understand young people’s views on environmental issues, both in the ACT and on a larger scale. A total of 683 postcards came back to us from young people ranging from 4 to 18 years old.
Our report highlights some key insights from young people’s responses. It also gives a set of recommendations about our environment as voiced by young people in the ACT.
